CFP2-DCO Pluggable Coherent Bi-Directional Optical Module

  • CFP2-DCO coherent bi-directional pluggable optical module solution is designed to transmit and receive data in both directions on a single fiber for 100G and beyond, providing an operationally efficient and cost-effective way for telecommunications and cable operators to increase capacity in fiber-limited networks. This coherent bi-directional module can provide Remote PHY and fiber deep cable networks with a solution to migrate from 10G to 100G and beyond, to meet growing bandwidth demands, in situations where only a single fiber is available.
  • Acacia’s CFP2-DCO coherent bi-directional modules can also alleviate both bandwidth and fiber constraints in wireless networks migrating from 4G LTE to 5G, which contain a large number of remote nodes as well as some fibers being utilized by existing services.

  • CFP2-DCO modules are commonly used in metro carrier and DCI applications where high density and pluggability are more valued.
