➤Customer Requirement: The customer requires support for single-wavelength 10G SDH services and requests optical protection for the line. ➤Solution Description: To meet the customer's needs, we have implemented a solution using components from the STN6200 series. This includes OEO units, OLP units, EDFA units, and DCM units. The original line has already been compensated for 40km dispersion and includes an optical amplifier (PA). However, significant attenuation still exists in the line. To achieve optical protection, we have added BA units at both ends of the line to enhance system reliability and stability.

➤Customer Requirement: A client in the power industry needs to transmit both 2.5G and 10G services. The transmission distances for the main and backup lines are approximately 340km and 220km, respectively. The power budget for the main line is 72dB, while for the backup line, it is 59dB.

We have chosen to use the STN6200 product series, which includes FEC units, BA units, Raman amplification units, PA units, and DCM units.
